This is a long term opportunity to join a highly profitable, established family business and contribute to its future growth within the Lincolnshire area. The site is due to undergo a major redevelopment in approximately 2016.
With a projected turnover of £30m, you will report directly into the Managing Director and lead a team of 3 Line Managers and approximately 45 staff. The site comprises Sales, Service, Parts and Accounts. Annual Sales are anticipated to be in the region of 440 New and 400 Used units. You will also assume a ‘dotted line’ responsibility for the on-site Isuzu franchise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Sales and After Sales Management background with a proven track record in the Automotive Industry. Sales Management experience is essential. The ability to deliver outstanding customer service is a priority. You will be a natural leader and have the ability to coach and develop both individuals and established teams. Analytical, numerate and commercially focused, you need to be able to think strategically whilst adopting a practical hands on approach in running the business. A thorough understanding and adherence to business processes is essential. A familiarity with current marketing methods will also be required. You will also possess strong communication and presentation skills, as you will represent the Company within the local community.
This position will ideally suit an experienced Dealer Principal or General Manager seeking a long term opportunity to further develop the business.
Due to the nature of the role, there will be a requirement to live within the local geographical area. Reasonable relocation support may be considered for the right candidate.
