Now we’re poised to take the Lexus into a new phase of development, and this newly created role within Toyota GB – the sales and marketing company for Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the UK – will be crucial to our pursuit of perfection.
Essentially, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the Lexus brand, resolving the issues that stem from the ongoing march of technology and adding considerably to our knowledge base. This will entail managing queries from some fifty Lexus centres, providing a solution over the phone or referring the problem to our engineering teams in Japan, as well as providing support to other departments from a technical
or customer care perspective.
Naturally you’ll need supreme technical understanding gained in a workshop environment – industry-recognised qualifications and experience in a quality franchise are a must. But just as important will be your ability to analyse technical issues, along with the communication skills and credibility to present complex material.
