Our client is one of the world’s leading motorcycle organisations. Due to several internal promotions, they are seeking to recruit an experienced automotive professional who will be responsible for interpreting and understanding their franchise strategy to ensure that optimum representation is achieved within each European country.
Reporting to the Business Manager, this role will focus on building and implementing the franchise policy and strategy to ultimately gather, develop and maintain information on the dealer network across Europe. You will create, define and implement the process to develop the optimum and ideal network aimed at delivering successful dealer performance by both country and product. You will establish and develop mechanisms for evaluating the existing dealer network to improve the dealer profitability whilst controlling and co-ordinating dealer agreements. Other areas of focus will be whether there are the right number of dealers within the country, will they sell the whole range and also any logistical issues.
To be considered for this role, you must have a background within the automotive sector with a strong understanding of finance, legal requirements and ideally an understanding of the motorcycle industry. You must have good analysis skills as well as first class communication and co-ordination skills. You will also have an excellent of methodologies and systems available to plan networks.
This role will be based in Berkshire and would ideally suit an individual with strong European languages skills as there will be occasional travel.
