This exciting new role of European Media Brand Manager is pivotal in helping to set the overall media strategy for Brand and Product Launch in Europe for a leading Automotive organisation.
Delivering a Media strategy by working in strong collaboration with the Communications team and gaining full value from a consolidated media buying process. You will have principal responsibility for the on-going management of a combined media investment across vast European markets to support the long term objectives of efficiency and value. A very visible role throughout the UK based European head office and also each European market providing leadership for local marketing teams in the development of their own local strategies and plans and as a result requires frequent European travel.
With this enhanced European operation you will be creating and developing central strategies for the whole of Europe spanning over 25 markets, to create brand consistency and presence in all markets whilst delivering the most efficient media operation.
Lead the appointed European media planning, buying and auditing agencies and contribute to the development of the overall Brand and Product Launch direction. Manage the briefing, creation, sign off and production of all Brand and Product Launch media plans for TV, Press, Out of Home and manage the successful implementation of a centrally managed truly pan European media strategy.

Essential skills & experience
European media and big brand experience ideally gained within automotive, FMCG, telecoms or retail. You will have the ability to interrogate advertising ideas and work with agency to develop European media plans to be translated in specific markets
Influential with strong ability to negotiate and construct logical arguments and present those with conviction and gravitas
A strong grasp of key media metrics to define success and manage pan European media audit
A creative thinker who understands the “customer journey”
Strong negotiation skills to develop on-going relationships with key media owners and secure favourable terms
