Our client is one of the world’s leading automotive organisations. Due to several internal promotions, they are seeking to recruit an experienced automotive professional with dealership accounting systems and a financial composite background.
Reporting to the Business Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting in the business planning, analysis and interpretation of financial data throughout the European region. You will implement consistent financial KPIs, setting the standards for reporting across the region which will develop an understanding of the financial structure and stability of the dealer networks and maintain an overall view of the networks’ financial health.
To assess the dealer network profitability, you will implement Business Management processes and Dealer Financial Composites. You will assist and manage consistent systems and measures for business planning for dealer networks, groups and individual dealers on an ongoing basis, to include viability, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
With the above measures in place, you will create a management information tool and process to inform senior management on a regular basis of the financial health and risks of the regions’ dealer networks and identify performance and financial issues within Dealers/countries and recommend actions to improve.
Through your expert knowledge of finance/accounts across numerous dealerships/countries, you will provide operational guidance and advice to train and educate staff as necessary.
This role would ideally suit an individual based on the European mainland with strong languages skill. A fluency in English with other languages is a must. The individual must also be close to a major European airport as regular travel across Europe will be required.

To be considered for this role, you must have either professional accountancy qualifications or suitable financial experience gained within the automotive sector.
Proven analytical skills and understanding of dealer financial composites. Have a detailed understanding of all dealer operations ideally having worked across the European region with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels, and present clearly.
