Executive Assistant / PA to Divisional Operations Director - Milton Keynes

We are looking for a well organised, highly experienced Executive Assistant / PA with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision. Duties are wide ranging, mixing the routine with the unexpected - this is a new position calling for skill and experience necessary to make an immediate contribution combined with the initiative to help establish a new role.
The Operations Director you will support is a key member of the sits on the Senior Operations Management Team, in a newly created role and holds a national remit. The work will be varied and challenging. This role has been newly created to assist him – so there is a definite opportunity to contribute to its development.
Your duties will include:
Liaise closely with key colleagues to deliver the support needs of the Operations Director
Diary organisation and prioritisation
Organise and arrange internal and external meetings
Collation and presentation of company data, figures and reports
Manage meetings and travel arrangements
Prepare material for presentations
-Assist in managing and organising emails
Dealing with enquiries
Organise materials for meetings
Take minutes at the meetings when required
Run an efficient and effective office for the Operations Director
Conscientious, logical and hard working with an excellent telephone manner.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
Planning and Prioritising skills
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Typing speeds of 60 wpm preferred.
Proficiency in shorthand would be an advantage.
