First established in 1902 and now based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, Triumph Motorcycles is the largest British-owned automotive manufacturer, producing around 55,000 bikes per year in the UK, Thailand, Brazil and soon to be in India. Triumph employs around 2,200 personnel worldwide and has offices in the UK, America, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Spain, Benelux, India, Brazil and Indonesia, plus a network of independent distributors.

We are currently seeking to employ a suitably experienced Export Sales Regional Manager for the Asia Pacific region.

In this position you will represent Triumph Motorcycles Limited in the Asia/Pacific region pursuing the achievement of the company’s stated commercial and strategic objectives. Based out of our UK Office in Hinckley Leicestershire, your territory will include Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and China.

Travelling for between one to two weeks per month, you will be responsible for the commercial development and performance of the Triumph brand, including setting key business goals for Triumph and our distributors, which you will drive and support them to achieve.

Experienced in international business, you will need to demonstrate you have experience of managing and developing a distribution or dealer network at a national or international level.

Probably educated to degree level, you will be able demonstrate how you have built very strong relationships and ensured growth through the provision of marketing and technical support.

You will have experience of proposing appropriate promotional activities to distributors; monitor its implementation and ensuring that all activities are in keeping with corporate brand standards.

You will, of course, be able to demonstrate a successful track record, a high level of flexibility or adaptability and possibly a passion for motorcycles!
