Salary: c£27,000 pa plus Performance Bonus (subject to experience)
Imagine this. A key role in developing overseas business for one of the world’s most revered motorcycles. And we’re not just talking about Triumph bikes. There’s all the must-have stuff that makes Triumph a massive global brand, from the clothing and accessories to the quality parts and the online worldwide store.
As our Export Sales Co-ordinator, you’ll be starting from a position of strength, working with the Export Manager to grow revenue streams in third party distributor markets. The biggest of these are Australia and Spain, but there will be emerging regions to develop and entirely new markets to open up as well. All of which will mean plenty of scope for your commercial acumen and a great deal of international travel, typically one to two weeks every month. You’ll project manage marketing and sales initiatives in distributor markets, analyse sales and performance data, support distributors in running their businesses and actively prospect for partners in countries where Triumph has no representation. Over time, as your influence grows, so will the level of your all-round responsibility in selected markets.
To seize this exceptional opportunity, you’ll preferably need to be a business oriented graduate or have equivalent business experience. You’ll also have some experience in export markets and third party distribution channels dealing with a high profile brand. If this has been automotive related, so much the better, but it’s not essential. You’ll certainly need the initiative to explore and exploit new opportunities, and the energy to sustain a demanding schedule.
