This is a key position within the senior management team as the successful candidate will be able to make a strong contribution to the continued success of the business. The role is not a 'numbers only' type position. Working in a supportive/partnering role to the CEO, board and senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial strategy to facilitate the company’s ambitious growth plans whilst challenging and improving existing processes and systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Providing a high standard of financial control
• Trend analysis and financial modelling to help respond to dynamic market conditions
• Leadership of the Finance, IT and Legal teams
• Manage external reporting and maintain regulatory compliance
• Driving the annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes
• Overseeing acquisitions and due diligence

This is a key appointment to join a SeniorManagement teamthat is leading the pack. As a senior finance professional, the successful applicant will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and ideally have automotive retail experience. The role will be both challenging and demanding and will require the individual to be highly motivated, have solid commercial acumen and the ability to communicate at all levels. As an individual they will be confident working autonomously, as well as developing and inspiring those around them.
Significant experience of working at senior manager or director level is essential.
