High profile industry position
BEN as the automotive and related industries own charity provides care and support to anyone who works or has worked in the automotive industry. Providing a range of services both in the community and in 4 residential care homes, the charity needs to generate £11million a year to maintain its service provision.
A highly motivated individual is now being sought to head up the Fundraising division. Reporting to the Chief Executive, with a team of 30, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of a new fundraising strategy, with full budgetary responsibility and the development of external relationships both inside and outside the industry.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in either a sales or fundraising context, delivering a business result through a team of people. With proven leadership skills you will be experienced in developing relationships, confident when presenting ideas and proposals to a range of audiences. You will be experienced in bringing strategy to operational reality.
Focused, driven and resilient you will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and enjoy working with and through people. You will prefer variety and diversity in your working day.
