Gordon Lamb Limited is a family owned motor group and was first established in 1953. Today, the Company represent seven new car franchises and operate five sales dealerships as well as three additional franchised service centres.

The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to head our Skoda franchise in Derby.  Self-motivation, and passion are essential characteristics for leading our team there towards even greater success. 

You should be articulate and numerate with strong IT skills and you should have a flair for systematically managing, developing and monitoring all aspects of the business.  You must be a determined and success driven individual with prior sales management and general management experience at a franchised motor dealership.

You will be responsible for guiding and directing the dealership in both sales and aftersales, each led by a dedicated manager who will be responsible to you. You will be required to formulate and administer dealership policy, control cash flow, stocks and assets at a level commensurate with profit requirements and to provide a satisfactory return on investment. You will maximise dealership profitability through the sale of vehicles, associated products, parts and labour and most importantly, you will require a hands on proactive approach to management.
