Reg Vardy has a commitment to grow significantly over the next three to five years. Over the past two years we have added 25 dealerships to the Group and have attracted some outstanding people to join our Management Team.
Despite the new car market being a little depressed, the Group is seeing growth in all areas of the business and we feel the time is now right to press ahead with some more acquisition activity.
We have a policy to recruit from within wherever possible, but owing to the geographic nature of the spread of dealerships we are looking to recruit in several regions - Scotland, Tyne and Wear, Teeside, Yorkshire, East and West Midlands and the South East.
In an ideal world we would like to recruit General Managers and Line Managers three months in advance of executive responsibility so that a full induction into the Group can take place before Managers become business accountable.
We operate with a structure of Regional Management with each of the Directors and their teams operating up to 20 dealerships and approximately 1,000 colleagues. This helps with the integration of new dealerships and offers career progression to Managers without having to relocate.
