We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager for our site in Colindale – North West London. The successful candidate must have a proven track record as a General Sales Manager responsible for a volume driven sales dealership, managing a department that is targeted to deliver over 1200 new and used Volkswagen passenger cars.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 managers and 12 Sales Executives. The role demands a good understanding of the Sales Process, volume and deal maximisation as well as strong people management. You will be responsible for ensuring that your sales department meets its Sales, F&I and Customer Care targets. You will actively lead the sales team’s daily activities and provide hands on support to achieve volume and margin objectives.
You will have responsibility for a 15 car showroom which spans over 2 levels plus storage for both new and used cars on a further two floors. You will also be responsible for a used car forecourt that holds 80 cars as well as access to our large group stock.
You must have the ability to manage your team to maximise every sales opportunity, as well as being able to motivate a sales team to deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
Proficiency in using, Deal Maximising systems, SLI, Kerridge and EGM are desired.
