To assist the Group Marketing Manager with all marketing, advertising and PR as well as all onsite and offsite promotional activities. Undertake all group SEO functions on the group website including all paid for search requirements along with managing and updating all manufactures web portals.
Undertake all Keyword Research and implement an ongoing strategy
Undertake all copy optimisation on all wlmg websites relating to wlmg in order to adhere to Google best practice.
Undertake all creative link development ensuring a minimum of 15 article posts per month across relevant sites and implement an ongoing strategy
Implement a robust Directory Submission strategy ensuring a minimum of 80 submissions per month along with a mthly reporting system.
Manage all paid for search requirements and implement an ongoing strategy including full monthly reporting in order to track spend and ROI.
Content manage manufacturer website portals along with wlmg.co.uk including special offers, group news and careers etc, ensuring all information is up to date.
Manage the group’s Social Media strategy, managing relevant portals and updating as and when required.
Manage dealership photo levels on all external web portals – ensuring full photographic representation on all sites.
Manage 3rd party websites back offices in line with business requirements – i.e. Autotrader Dealer Edit
Compile regular reports relating to all business web activity and suggest relevant improvements or changes required.
Work with Group Marketing Manager to develop and maintain marketing and PR strategies to meet agreed company objectives. Ensuring these are posted on appropriate websites
Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data and provide detailed analysis to Group Marketing Manger on regular basis in order to assist with qtrly marketing activities. To ensure wlmg scrap books are maintained and competitor ads scrutinised and reported upon.
Assist Group Marketing Manager compile & distribute 0845 reports as well as daily sales and enquiry reports.
Organise and assist Group Marketing Manager with manufacturer onsite and offsite events and PR/awareness activities, including promotional staff and equipment.
Assist Group Marketing Manager with all Group POS requirements including manufacturer showroom standards, additional POS site requirements & demo & service loan vehicle decals.
To assist with qtrly staff newsletter – ensure stories are kept up to date by liaising with relevant line managers.
Assist Group Marketing Manager with all media bookings including advert production via all relevant online manufacturers’ portals
To liaise with relevant manufacturer and ensure all relevant brand standards adhered to at all times.
To assist Group Marketing Manager with all qtrly marketing planners
To assist Group Marketing Manager with budget management
To assist Group Marketing Manager with the smooth running of all external advertising accounts – i.e. Autotrader
•A track record in search engine optimisation
•Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and site optimisation
•Proven track record of improving the ranking and traffic of website using white hat techniques
•A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
