A significant focus for the role is the creative use of data segmentation, for both existing customers and conquest prospects, to generate sales opportunities for the business. In addition, the position is responsible for the creation of innovative marketing products, events, partnerships and campaigns that set Tony Purslow/Jacksons Mercedes-Benz apart from the competition.
The role is also responsible for the ownership of internal Group branding and communications, including staff sales incentive schemes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Deployment of a communications strategy for the combined Group, considering each business area within the Group. Ensure maximum synergy wherever possible, but deliver for the local business unit where necessary.
•Following the strategic plan, develop and deliver innovative ‘business need’ based marketing campaigns, to drive business opportunities, selecting most relevant creative, media channels (inc POS) and spend.
•Deliver creative events, product placement, and local business/sponsorship relationships to drive local penetration.
•Develop a dynamic data segmentation strategy for each business area to deliver sales opportunities (i.e. ERD, anniversary, predictive) and provide quality data to the Customer Contact Centre to deliver sales opportunities.
•Protect the business data to prevent burn out and identify new sources of data to drive conquest sales.
•Manage any agency relationships, minimising spend on fees.
•Be the main point of contact for MBUK marketing & drive engagement with relevant central campaigns or programmes (including use of assets).
•Create an optimised SEO strategy to drive all local opportunities to the business.
•Develop and roll out a social media strategy to deliver business results.
•Deliver an ongoing Fleet Marketing communications plan, working with the Fleet Sales Manager to create innovative approaches to the fleet customer.
•Develop ongoing internal communications and brand identity in support of all business units (e.g. presentation templates, letter heading etc).
•Create sales incentive campaigns in collaboration with Sales and After Sales Directors.
•Plan and manage the annual marketing budget for the Group.
•Produce weekly/ monthly/quarterly reports and presentations on planned activity, and performance measurement of such as enquiry volume, quality and conversion.
