Honda are currently recruiting for a highly experienced and sales focused Dealer Corporate Manager - Cars to further develop sales within the southern area.
This role will be working within the Honda UK organisation focusing on the development of corporate sales within your given area. The role suits a ‘hunter’ who is heavily focused on sales with the ability to sell consultatively and create a strong business case for decision makers up to and including board level. You will work very closely with corporate dealers within the southern territory to maximise sales opportunities to the business to business sector as well as clients in the public sector.
The role will broadly encompass sales into the sub 100 and public sector market, building relationships with senior external decision makers leading to incremental sales.
Achieve the corporate sales target for a territory of corporate customers in the sub 100 and public sector markets.
Manage the relationship with existing customers to maximise fleet penetration and generating new customers that will purchase Honda product within the territory.
Manage the customer database for the territory
Assume a high degree of autonomy and accountability for the effective use of resources to achieve the sales target including demonstrators, bonuses and marketing activity.
Report on competitor activity and customer demands, as well as managing cost per unit to meet budgetary requirements.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
A strong background within corporate sales would be highly beneficial
Highly enthusiastic and self motivated with strong influencing and selling skills. The role will only suit those that are of a ‘hunter’ disposition
Experience in dealing with external customers in a variety of roles.
Graduate calibre with the ability to deal with Senior Executives both externally and internally.
Excellent presentation, influencing and selling skills with excellent planning abilities and organisational skills.
