Honda is currently recruiting for a European Business Finance Manager. Due to several internal promotions, they are seeking to recruit an experienced automotive professional with dealership accounting systems and a financial composite background to take responsibility throughout Europe.
This exciting new role will have responsibility for assisting in the business planning, analysis and interpretation of financial data throughout the European region. You will implement consistent financial KPIs, setting the standards for reporting across the region which will develop an understanding of the financial structure and stability of the dealer networks and maintain an overall view of the networks’ financial health.
Assessing the dealer network profitability and implementing Business Management processes and Dealer Financial Composites
Assisting and managing consistent systems and measures for business planning for dealer networks to include viability, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
Create a management information tool and process to inform senior management on a regular basis of the financial health and risks of the regions’ dealer networks.
Identify performance and financial issues within Dealers/countries and recommend actions to improve.
Provide operational guidance and advice to train and educate staff as necessary.
This role would ideally suit an individual based on the European mainland with strong language skills. A fluency in English and another European language is a must with a strong preference for German although other languages will be considered.
The individual must also be close to a major European airport as regular travel across Europe will be required.
The successful candidate must have either professional accountancy qualifications or suitable financial experience gained within the automotive sector.
You will require proven analytical skills and understanding of dealer financial composites and being able to present in a clear and concise manor whilst dealing with people on all levels.
