Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd at Swindon, Wiltshire produces over 600 cars - about 1 every 90 seconds though the hard work, dedication and passion of their talented associates. The role

You will be responsible for the rollout of HR strategy which will help shape the business in the years to come.
Build effective relations with the business, Unions and Works Councils
Provide executive coaching to the site leaders and to the senior teams across talent, culture, capability and employee relations.
Build a healthy, inclusive operating culture based on direct, individual employee engagement at the site in order to drive performance.
Manage complex ER issues through to successful resolution.
Assisting the Head of HR in designing and implementing the right capabilities within the organisation; playing a key role in organisational design and development.

Strong HR generalist skill set including employee relations
Deep HR generalist leadership experience across both management and front line teams ideally from within a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience of building effective relationship with Trade Unions and Works Councils
Ability to set the agenda, defining and developing people strategies and translating these into actionable plans.
First class communication skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
