Honda Motor Europe have a brand new opportunity for an Accessory Sales Planning Manager within Honda Motorcycles division based at the EMEA Head Office in Langley, Berkshire.
This exciting new role as Motorcycles Accessory Sales Planning Manager will be responsible for Honda's Motorcycle accessories sales planning. The role will be fundamental to deliver the aim of incorporating Motorcycle and Accessories into stronger lifestyle packages for Honda European customers.
Working closely with country distributors and dealers across a specific European region, you should have a genuine passion for motorcycles and previous European experience. A second language, ideally German would be a distinct advantage but awareness of different cultures is absolutely essential.
The role ;
Responsible for Motorcycle accessories unit and profit budget controls within a defined European region.
Development of accessory fitment ratio targets related to 2-Wheeler sales plans.
Campaign planning, identifying sales opportunities and future strategies.
Proposing and implementing initiatives and campaigns to reach sales targets.
Ensuring order/supply commitments, monitoring sales performance and stock levels.
Handling escalated customer issues.
Producing internal weekly and monthly reports.
Managing market intelligence and marketing capability within region to support individual countries in setting out and achieving ambitious sales growth.
Providing support through knowledge sharing, and cooperating with members regarding non-European customers and process flows.
Skills and experience required ;
A sales/marketing background with good experience of working within a complex European business environment.
Experience in Motorcycles / Accessories business preferred and a passion for motorcycles absolutely essential !
Sales focussed, highly enthusiastic and motivated with strong influencing skills.
Ability to organise, work under pressure and effectively prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines
Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong financial awareness and business decision making applying commercial and financial principles.
Highly proficient PC skills including Excel and Power point.
Flexible and confident to travel at short notice. Usually 2-3 trips per month.
Flexible and willing to work longer hours when needed.
