Our client Honda is one of the leading automotive manufacturers in the world. They are seeking to recruit an PR and Sponsorship Executive who will be responsible for supporting the Partnerships Manager in delivering creative, impactful and measurable PR and Sponsorship activation support to improve awareness of Honda products and brand.


The role will include sponsorship activation support and media relations/influencer communications around Honda (UK)’s partnership/sponsorship programme, namely: the Honda Racing Team in the British Touring Car Championship; School of Dreams and WorldSkills London 2011 as part of Honda (UK)’s broader Education Strategy and the Power of Dreams team of Olympic athletes. In addition, the role will include some general PR Communications support covering product PR.

Main Responsibilities:

Support the Partnerships Manager:
activation support around all sponsorships
media relations for each sponsorship
internal communications around each sponsorship
working with Honda Racing sponsors to help with their media relations/sponsorship activation
agency & supplier negotiation and management
evaluation and reporting against objectives

Support the PR Communications team:
maintaining the media website
writing press materials
results evaluation and reporting

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

Preferably 2 years PR and Sponsorship experience
Positive, down to earth attitude with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Creative ability, bringing fresh ideas to increase awareness of Honda brand and product level
Strong team player, with solid organisational and negotiation skills
Work under pressure to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The role will require working on weekends through the racing season (April to October)
