Honda is recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager (Motorcycles) to be based in the European Headquarters in Langley UK. Honda’s motorcycle business is at the heart of the company’s culture and philosophy and prides itself on its ability to bring the enjoyment and freedom of motorcycling to a wide range of customers.
This role will utilise outstanding understanding of the European Motorcycle Customer, Sales and Marketing Environment together with comprehensive analysis of Customer and Market Information to propose future developments of motorcycle products across a range of product styles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of future product line ups through participation in the product development flow by supporting the logic and rationale of European product requirements, analysing existing markets and new trends within Europe and summarising key outtakes and requirements. In addition the individual will be engaged in planning future motorcycle accessories requirements. The role will position and communicate the product through Europe whilst facilitating and supporting the further promotion of each product outside the business.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
In-depth understanding of motorcycles from industry experience or a keen personal interest
European experience ideally from the automotive industry (other industry’s will be considered)
Working experience of sales, marketing, supply, after-sales or product planning functions
Excellent research skills with high degree of ability to interpret wide ranging data into structured & meaningful Management information that allows a clear Business direction.
Highly effective communicator and presenter, able to build good relationships across all cultures both internally and externally.
