The role suits a ‘hunter’ who is heavily focused on sales, can sell consultatively and create a strong business case for decision makers up to and including board level.
The role will broadly encompass sales into major fleets, building relationships with senior external decision makers leading to incremental sales. Working very closely with corporate dealers within the territory to maximise sales opportunities.
o Achieve the corporate sales target for a territory of corporate customers. Manage the relationship with existing customers to maximise fleet penetration and generating new customers that will purchase Honda product within the territory.
o Manage the customer database for the territory
o Assume a high degree of autonomy and accountability for the effective use of resources to achieve the sales target including demonstrators, bonuses and marketing activity.
o Report on competitor activity and customer demands, as well as managing cost per unit to meet budgetary requirements.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
o Highly enthusiastic and self motivated with strong influencing and selling skills. The role will only suit those that are of a ‘hunter’ disposition
o Experience in dealing with external customers in a variety of roles.
o Graduate calibre with the ability to deal with Senior Executives both externally and internally.
o Excellent presentation, influencing and selling skills with excellent planning abilities and organisational skills.
