An automotive manufacturer is seeking a Communications Manager to provide integrated marketing support in the UK. The role is based at the manufacturer’s UK head office and involves working very closely with their marketing agency and managing a field marketing team.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementing national tactical offers ATL
Lead all UK Retailer Marketing activities.
Manage a team of field based Retail Marketing Managers
Manage the Marketing Support Co-ordinator
Give retailers full suite of marketing tools and materials
Develop all retailer communications material supporting the quarterly marketing programmes,
Attend all field force meetings and act as voice of marketing / brand guardian for all retailer customer facing programmes.
Manage dealer marketing portal budget
Create marketing materials for Aftersales programmes
Manage customer facing events nationally
The successful candidate will:
Have a background in automotive retail marketing – gained in either a field, agency, dealer or manufacturer role.
Be educated to degree level or equivalent
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.
Excellent project management skills
A Self starter who can proactively identify business issues and provide solutions
Able to gain confidence and respect of senior management in retailers and the manufacturer.
Demonstrate strong people management skills, to set clear objectives and motivate a team
