Our client is an automotive manufacturer with a highly successful and innovative trade parts programme. They now seek two Key Account Managers, one covering in the North (Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England) and one covering the South (the Midlands, London and the South). The roles will initially be for a 2 year contract and will be employed via a third party agency.

Working with the National Account Manager you will be responsible for developing trade parts business with key accounts in your region.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake programme of customer acquisition to increase sales penetration in key sectors, Fastfit, Independent Motor Trade, Emergency Services and Crash Repair.
Manage, prospect and develop your own territory in line with National Account objectives
To identify and prospect all regionalised grouped accounts within your territory and establish strong working relationships with the key decision makers
To build loyalty with existing customers through excellent industry knowledge and account management
Undertake regular review meetings monitoring volume performance against potential opportunity and action accordingly
Develop strong working relationships with head office and network stakeholders
Manage your appointments and schedule
Work in conjunction with the Public Sector Sales Specialist to develop Emergency service opportunities within your territory
Represent the company at industry, customer, factory and Brand events


The successful candidate will:

Have a proven track record in a Business to Business field sales role
Be happy working in a fast paced, target driven environment
Be able to work independently in a field based role and manage your time effectively
Be of graduate calibre
Excellent communications skills verbal & written
Be numerate and IT Literate (proven competence with Word and Excel a minimum)
Previous experience in the automotive sector or parts is not required
