My Clients are a family owned car dealer group in Swindon. Established back in 1948, they are now a multi-franchise dealer group. They represent a range of brands including Honda, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, Renault and Toyota to name but a few.
Due to continued business requirements they are now recruiting for a Local Business Development Manager for their Toyota Dealership in Swindon.
Reporting into the Dealer Principal, the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Develop opportunities with small and medium enterprises in and around the local area, maximising sales and profitability for the dealership, and contributing to the overall department target
- Plan and manage a structured and proactive approach to prospecting in the local area
- Oversee marketing and promotion programs
Experience in B2B vehicle sales within the automotive industry would be a huge advantage, however not essential. You must have previous experience working in a B2B target driven environment with excellent customer service skills. You will need to have outstanding presentation skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. Diary management is key in this role and you will ideally have experience of using an electronic contact management system.
