Market Intelligence & Business Controller - Leicester

About the Role:
· Creation of accurate, timely and effective Market Intelligence (MI) and reporting, through leading edge analysis is the key function of this role.

· Delivery of information that is easy to use and which paints a compelling portrait, whilst delivering added value and benefit to the business, our customers and our employees.

· Produce management information to agreed standards of accuracy and timescales for real operational use, as well as tactical and strategic decision making by management.

· Provide ad hoc data analysis and provision of interpreted data for senior management when required. Adding value wherever possible by means of thorough interpretation, caveats and commentary.

· The extraction, loading and management of data for all Control Centre campaigns across all systems currently used within the business.


About You
· An analytical individual with experience of producing management information within a structured environment.

· A proven track record of meeting stretching business critical deadlines. Finely tuned problem solving skills with the drive to make a significant impact on the business.

· The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the Company. Proactive nature and ‘can do’ approach with the ability to drive the achievement of objectives through to completion.

· Analytically and numerically minded.

· Advanced PC skills are essential including knowledge of Microsoft packages. Extensive knowledge of Excel and the ability to learn systems quickly.

· Experienced in MI and data analysis and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

· Able to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to produce reports and analysis to all levels within the business.

· Strong commercial and business acumen in order to analyse trends and recognise areas of change or improvement for the business.

· Proven experience of working within a Business Intelligence environment.
