About the Role
The role of the Market Risk Manager is to support the management of Motability Operation’s (MO’s) market risks associated with vehicle residual values and maintenance spends. To manage the Used Car Market Outlook including the development and maintenance of the internal models and a comprehensive understanding of factors influencing used car values. To contribute to the application and development of MO’s statistically based forecasting processes and risk management techniques.
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level and be experienced at creating and implementing a future outlook based on analysis of data and other factors. They will also need an advanced understanding of statistical techniques and their application in a commercial environment, including econometrics and at least 5yrs experience of working in an analytically oriented commercial environment.
