Our client a well known automotive company is seeking a Market Support Manager to join their team. This role would ideally suit an individual already working in a motor industry training, consultancy enviroment or associated business but may also be of interest to people currently working in a dealer group within a market support function.
This role is to provide support and consultancy for training representatives in the Clients international markets on all training matters (commercial and technical training); working in partnership to identify and interpret core training needs, and develop appropriate training plans and practices to create an engaged and competent dealer network.
Promote the importance and benefits of training and development to key personnel throughout the organisation and its partner companies.
Work with local teams in international markets, communicating most regularly by email and telephone, with market visits/face to face meetings when required.
Using information gathered through market audits, and building strong relationships with market training representatives, you will work in partnership to identify and interpret core training needs, and develop appropriate training plans.
Implement the Clients “One Academy” strategy in all markets, in order to facilitate a consistent approach to learning and development and ensure ongoing improvement in the quality of training provision.
Monitor progress of international training organisations' activities against agreed targets and produce regular market reports, detailing key metrics & achievements, and highlighting areas for development.
For all training interventions, work with the training delivery team to ensure training needs are fully understood & the required materials/facilities are available to support the events.
Follow up on all training interventions to ensure objectives were achieved, analyse training performance metrics and review any additional training needs highlighted during the course of the programme.
Encourage utilisation of training information, tools and materials produced by the Academy.
Support the Voice of the Market process by encouraging training representatives to communicate their requirements for new courses/materials, and progress their requests through the process, feeding information back into the Clients global training team.
Support launch training events, as required.
Experience in working/liaising with international communities
Appreciation of the retail sales environment and/or technical/after sales arena
Training and Development experience desirable
Motor industry experience desirable
