My Client is an automotive group in the Middle East; they represent over twenty brands from various locations. They have an excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative Marketing Brand Manager, who has high level communication and language skills, is results orientated and has business acumen.
The Brand Manager is required to plan, direct and control the implementation of brand strategies and product development for several automotive franchises; provide accurate and timely information to support the business needs; develop and maintain close working relationships with all key customers and services.
Strategic Brand Management:
•Plan, develop and implement departmental strategies to support existing and new business
•Monitor and review key competitor activity
•Forecast market trends and future actions
•Devise campaigns that are original
•Manage departmental budgets
•Alignment with departmental and overall Company objectives
•Develop budget proposal that maximises the market equation
•Effective apportionment of budget to cover marketing mix
•Quarterly review process with the General Manager
•Control and review development of marketing plans to achieve budget targets
Project / Campaign Management:
•Manage and oversee the setting up of the Company's automotive brand strategies to ensure meeting of goals and timeline in the resources and budget allocated
•Manage and monitor project team members' performance to ensure business goals and requirements are fulfilled
•Develop cost effective and outstanding marketing campaigns in support of the stated volume objectives for each brand and functional area (Sales, Service & Parts)
•Prepare communication briefs (advertising, event, PR) in close co-operation with marketing and sales colleagues
•Briefing the management of agencies (advertising, creative etc) to develop creative and campaign consultancy work
•Day to day responsibility to deliver campaigns which achieve the targets set in the annual brand marketing plan
•Ensure that all Marketing collateral materials (brochures, POS, CI guidelines) for each brand and model are up-to-date.
•Monitor employees' in the different departments and request / recommend development measures to the respective business unit head
•Assist HR in implementing any change management strategy
•Assist HR in setting and conducting performance appraisals
•Degree in Business Management / Sales & Marketing
•Minimum of five years experience in a similar capacity
