Marketing Communications Executive

The successful Tony Purslow and Jacksons Mercedes-Benz businesses have been consolidated into one new Group business, operating in two separate Market Areas, covering Guildford, Basingstoke, Hindhead (Aftersales only), Poole, Salisbury and Dorchester.

At the same time, the Mercedes-Benz brand is going through significant change and is appealing to a younger, broader audience than ever before, through the introduction of an exciting line up of new products such as the new A-Class and new CLA.  It is also an exciting time of change for the unique smart car brand, with a completely new range about to be launched.

The purpose of this role is to generate enquiries, loyalty and retention for the combined Tony Purslow/Jacksons Mercedes-Benz and smart businesses across Retail Sales, Fleet Sales and After Sales.

It will also deliver innovative marketing campaigns that set Tony Purslow/Jacksons Mercedes-Benz apart from the competition, and be involved in the creation of internal communications campaigns.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

•Deliver innovative ‘business need’ based marketing campaigns, to drive business opportunities, selecting most relevant creative, media channels (inc POS) to an agreed budget.
•Support the delivery of creative events, product placement, and local business/sponsorship relationships.
•Be the specialist marketing consultant to one of our Market Area group of Retailers.
•Engage with agency partners to deliver where necessary.
•Liaise with MBUK marketing to access assets and align with relevant central campaigns or programmes.
•Integrate social media channels into campaign development in line with Group social media strategy.
•Create and deliver internal communications creative and assets, including sales incentives.
•Produce presentations and reports as necessary on planned activity and performance.
•Contribute to the maintenance of an accurate marketing plan.
•Provide support to the Group Marketing Communications Manager and Group Marketing Director where required.
