Our client is one of the leading motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Following a recent restructure, the business is seeking to recruit for a Marketing Communications Executive. This new role is pivotal in developing strong communication strategies to ensure the achievement of the motorcycle business plan. Working as part of a wider communications team it will develop and produce strategies, materials and initiatives and will also work in collaboration with other roles in the Communications team to produce compelling content for both on-going brand and product launch activities.
Reporting to the European Communications Manager, key responsibilities will include working closely with the senior management team and motorcycle communication agencies on Brand and Product Agencies. You will be actively involved in Product Planning, Press and PR across local markets. You will manage the development and creation of product photography for use in brochures and advertising material whilst working with the nominated agencies on specific projects to develop marketing material across Europe.
Key competencies will include:
Marketing and Strategy Planning – Actively contribute to winning strategies and plans that provide a clear market driven direction and enable the business to achieve its business goals.
Brand Experience – Support and lead where appropriate a clear, compelling and competitively differentiated brand positioning and experience that can be translated in everything the business does.
Marketing Communications – Pivotal in deploying an integrated programme across a number of media channels to communicate the brand’s messages to targeted customers in the most efficient way.
Commercial Rigour – Understanding of the importance of rigour and evaluation in the planning, implementation and measurement of brand initiatives in order to maximise profitability.
Supplier Management – Managing effective relationships with supply partners to deliver value and quality.
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in marketing communications ideally gained within the automotive sector. You will have excellent project management expertise with the ability to interrogate ideas and work with the nominated agency to develop materials for local markets across Europe. You will have experience of creative development in channels such as Press and Digital and a confidence in presenting to a range of audiences. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential.

Salary: £28-35,000 plus excellent benefits
