Our client a busy main car dealership in Northampton is looking for an experienced General Manager with a proven track record.
Job Description To ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the franchise whilst operating within the firm’s recognised procedures and policy. At the same time you should achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction. To control stocks at a level commensurate with annual budget and profit requirements. To maximise the firm’s profitability through the sale of vehicles, associated products, parts and labour.
To ensure that all departments achieve profit margins in line with budget forecasts and annual objectives.
The ideal candidate will: Be a sales expert and a strong, experienced Leader who has the drive and determination to succeed
Have a proven track record, preferably within a volume-driven dealership and be able to contribute to the success of the Group Possess first class interpersonal skills, combined with a credible leadership style Be 100% committed to give and always go the extra mile
Have the ability to implement and control process change.
Be capable of building relationships at all levels with team members, customers and Directors Have an eye for detail, meticulous standards, as well as possessing buying experience
