One of the most influential organisations in the automotive sector, The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic National Manager for England to join its team. Reporting to the Head of External Affairs, you will be part of a team responsible for engaging with employers in the automotive sector to develop and deliver market driven skills solutions.

The ideal applicant will have a background in both automotive and skills development and possess:

    • A clear understanding of the culture and current challenges facing the automotive sector

    • A comprehensive understanding of the key industry stakeholders and the Government’s skills agenda

    • A good working knowledge of industry standards, qualifications development and the regulatory bodies’ statutory requirements

This full-time role demands an exceptional, highly motivated individual with strong all-round communication and influencing skills to ensure engagement with employers and industry stakeholders.

Office based near Hertford, the role will involve working closely with employers throughout England and travelling on a regular basis with overnight stays when required.
