ph impetus is an established, successful and growing automotive consultancy / business services provider supporting 14 vehicle manufacturers in the UK and continental Europe.
We are currently recruiting a Programme Manager to project manage a new Trade Parts programme on behalf of a highly successful global vehicle manufacturer. In conjunction with an initial team of three consultants the role requires an exceptional individual to provide programme leadership. The individual will be required to work closely with the vehicle manufacturer with responsibility for programme implementation and development.
To fulfil this role you will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of the parts trade sector, franchised dealer and ideally vehicle manufacturer parts operations. The ability to manage the programme to improve performance is imperative. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
Understanding of franchised dealer business practices and the contrast to those employed by a parts factor in the supply of parts to independent motor traders
Proven project management and people management credentials
Negotiation skills with senior management
Ability to inspire others and achieve results
Excellent communication, inter-personal, analytical and business planning / financial skills
Flexible approach to work - a self sufficient, self starter
Education probably to degree level
Previous / current experience of working as a project manager, in a national / regional role, for a
vehicle manufacturer or parts factor would be preferable.
