Building on successful and well established levels of existing business this role will further develop activity through the dealer sales channel driving further engagement with the dealer network and achieve further growth through:

• Higher levels of dealer engagement at all levels – small, medium and large groups
• Greater simplicity and service excellence
• Securing and consolidating a uniform and consistent level of operating standards and procedures with all dealers
• Enhancing dealer focus, “buy-in” and greater degrees of activity and proactivity
• Greater support to engage key manufacturers dealer networks
• Ensuring that the market opportunity has a higher and more dynamic profile in the eyes of the dealers

Scale and Scope

• Lead, motivate and manage current field team
• Engage larger dealer groups to drive activity
• Full national coverage in leadership of field team, significant levels of presence in head offices
• Capacity, skills, knowledge and experience to grow with the role and specifically to be able to take on:
­ Potential direct man management of a Manufacturer Account Manager within 15 months
­ Direct responsibility for the Outbound Telesales function within 15 months

Personal Qualities

• Highly developed leadership and people management skills enabling positive engagement with the existing team and winning both hearts and minds to drive higher levels of performance
• Extensive knowledge and experience of the UK automotive marketplace, ideally spanning Leasing, Manufacturer and Dealer sectors
• A proven track record of significant achievement and continuous improvement
• A personal style that genuinely fits and resonates with the culture of the business
• Interpersonal strength, maturity, gravitas and charisma
• Excellent presentation skills and experience proven in front of a variety of audiences:
­ Conferences of significant delegate sizes
­ Small groups of boardroom executives
­ Various internal teams and colleague groups
• Experience of leading and coordinating virtual teams
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Functional experience of marketing would be a great asset
• Experience of providing creative and innovative solutions for clients and partners
