Jardine Motors Group is one of the largest dealer groups in the UK today representing 24 franchises from 74 locations across the UK. The group trades under a variety of well known names including Lancaster, Wayside, Scotthall and Abridge and represents all of the major premium brands including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover and VW.
While the group already has a well established and successful fleet operation which will sell over 10,000 cars this year we want to continue to grow our sales in this area of the market.

As a result we have an opportunity for an experienced fleet professional to join us in the role of ‘New Business Development Manager’. This role will give you the opportunity to work across our full brand portfolio developing relationships and ultimately sales to End User fleets. The role is a national field based position so location is flexible.

You will be responsible for working closely with our own dealers, our manufacturer partners and leasing company customers to identify and secure incremental sales for the group from end user fleets.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

•Prospect new end user accounts with 300+ Fleet Size
•Maximise sales of fleet vehicles to existing end user fleets
•Maximise the profitability of sales from these accounts
•Work with our Corporate Sales Managers in each brand to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

The successful candidate will:

•Have a detailed knowledge of the fleet market – gained with either a manufacturer, a major dealer group or leasing company
•Preferably the candidate will already have established end user relationships in place
•A proven track record in developing B2B sales
•Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong relationships with customers
•Strong influencing and negotiating skills
•Be a self-starter with high levels of personal motivation
•Resilient and able to deal with setbacks
•Strong team player with the ability of working across the organisation
•An ability to work independently utilising their own initiative
•Have experience working in a field-based role
