Operations Manager, Trade Parts Development

Warwick Office (with extensive European travel)

An exciting new position within our clients business, providing operational focus to the support and development of existing trade programmes. The successful candidate will be operationally responsible for the successful delivery of nominated UK & European trade parts programmes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Achieve Part Sales out revenue targets

·         Facilitate day to day client operational planning and requirements

·         Manage field team and consultant resources

·         Develop & Implement programme market & proposition tests

·         Drive programme evolution and development

·         Increase market representation growth within European programmes

·         Drive bolt-on product development and provision – TSR / eLearning / Ops Manual / Marcomms / Research / Pricing

·         Demonstrable contribution to the development of a trade parts sales proposition

·         Strong project management and influencing skills across multiple programmes and clients

 

Capabilities:

 

·         Understanding of the relationship between franchise dealers and Independent garages in the

      parts supply business

·         Experience of developing trade sales business on behalf of a vehicle manufacturer

·         Have managed relationships with senior management from manufacturer / supplier and dealer

      organisations

·         Clear track record in managing remote resources to effectively achieve KPIs and programme

      objectives

·         Ability to inspire others leading to productive activity

·         Resilient approach to problem solving

·         Financially astute and able to interpret sales reports

·         High attention to detail

·         Excellent communication and relationship building skills

·         Flexible approach to work, self sufficient and a self starter

·         PC literate
