Our client is part of the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world, with a global turnover of over $185 billion. It is one of the largest in the UK automotive market, with a well-known range in the vehicle and aftersales markets.
As an Aftersales Product Development Manager you will increase volume, revenue, profit and market penetration for our client, covering a specific portfolio of aftermarket products. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring customer driven development of plans for new aftersales products to give our client a competitive advantage. In addition to this, you will identify aftersales product opportunities and will initiate, develop and implement innovative and effective product sales strategies and programmes to grow sales. You will also maintain regular market analysis and trend tracking for your portfolio.
The successful applicant should have a business management or marketing degree/qualification and experience in a management role, with excellent numeracy and analytical skills, a good strategic vision and sound interpersonal skills. A minimum of three years' field experience with retailer or independent parts operations is preferred.
