We are seeking a Programmes Support Co-ordinator for the European Aftersales Business of Honda Motor Europe, to be based at their prestigious European Head Quarters in Langley, Berkshire.

Someone who can think as the ‘customer’ and be creative and innovative with ideas to create customer excellence.

Reporting into the Manager of Dealer Programmes, this role requires the daily operational control, support and ongoing coordination of retention programmes which will assist in delivering customer focussed maintenance and repair solutions during the ownership cycle. Additionally, the role will encompass responsibility for the control and coordination of the communications materials used to support the programmes in market. The role carries responsibility for the delivery of the programmes to Car, Motorcycles and Power Equipment customers.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure that customer retention programmes are made available to Honda’s European Distribution Centres to aid customer retention, grow retail hours sold and drive customer satisfaction
Organise and conduct regular market research and analysis of customers, potential customers, product owners and competitors
Ongoing evaluation and benchmarking of existing programmes
Regular communication with key dealer operations
Production of marketing support materials
Management of external creative and print agencies, control of spend against set budget
Ensure that all programmes are compliant with all European legislation requirements

Qualifications and skills:

Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to multi task and manage multiple projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An enquiring and investigative mind, unafraid to challenge & ask questions
A track record of managing agency or third party suppliers
Customer focussed with relationship building skills
Commercial background with experience of some or all of the following; marketing, project management, market research, customer service, account management and dealer programmes
Ability to think laterally and provide retention solutions
A service industry background with involvement in aftermarket support solutions (client or supplier side)
Professional, self motivated and confident
Commercial background preferably with some Pan-European experience and ideally with knowledge of dealer operations
