Right now we are recruiting an additional consultant to support the UK network implementation of a pioneering regional parts distribution strategy on behalf of a premium vehicle manufactruer.
Working as part of a team led by a Project Manager the role requires the individual to implement process change and lead the associated restructuring of dealer aftersales operations.
The CandidateDetailed knowledge of franchised dealer after-sales business practices
To fulfil this role you will need to have a detailed understanding of franchised dealer parts operations and the interdependencies with Sales, Service and Bodyshop departments. Experience of parts inventory/ logistics management at a regional or group level would be of particular benefit.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
An understanding of major DMS vendor systems (Kerridge / Kalamazoo)
An aptitude for project management, effecting change through influencing skills
Financial awareness, able to formulate and explain business case justification
Excellent communication, inter-personal, analytical and process skills
A flexible approach to work and travel requirements
Education ideally to degree level
Successful candidate experience is likely to include a background of working for a major franchised dealer group, vehicle manufacturer or OE parts manufacturer / distributor.
