Our client is a highly successful automotive manufacturer currently experiencing sustained growth in the UK. They are now seeking a field based Regional Aftersales Manager to work with their dealers in Northern England.
The role is responsible for the sales of parts and accessories via the dealers in the region as well as improving efficiency and effectiveness and profitability of the dealers’ aftersales operations.
You will work closely with the dealers in your region to maximize sales and profitability of all aftersales products and ensure customer service is optimized. This will involve building strong working relationships with dealership personnel from senior management down. You will work with dealers on all the manufacturer’s tactical aftersales campaigns and ensure that all opportunities are realised.
Be educated to degree level
Be currently working for either a UK automotive manufacturer or large dealer group
Will ideally have completed a manufacturer or dealer group graduate scheme
Probably have experience working in a dealer development or dealer relations function
Previous experience in an aftersales role is not required
Demonstrate a progressive career history to date
Good IT skills with advanced Excel and Word.
Be living in the Northern England Region – or readily able to relocate
Be flexible and ambitious and prepared to relocate as required to progress your career with the manufacturer
Demonstrate excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
