Our client is an automotive manufacturer. They are now seeking a field based Regional Aftersales Manager to work with their dealers in London and the home counties.
The role is responsible for the sales of parts and accessories via the dealers in the region as well as improving efficiency and effectiveness and profitability of the dealers’ aftersales operations.
You will work closely with the dealers in your region to maximize sales and profitability of all aftersales products and ensure customer service is optimized. This will involve building strong working relationships with dealership personnel from senior management down. You will work with dealers on all the manufacturer’s tactical aftersales campaigns and ensure that all opportunities are realised.
The successful candidate will:
Educated to a minimum of GCSE level and preferably higher
A good understanding of dealer infrastructure and operations is essential.
Strong experience of working closely with the dealer network, ideally gained within a field role (sales or aftersales).
As a minimum alternative, a dealer support role containing regular face-to face or phone contact with senior dealer line management personnel.
Previous experience in an aftersales role is not essential
Demonstrate a progressive career history to date
Familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint plus capability to use Access database
Demonstrate excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Be living in London or the home counties.
