Our client is an automotive manufacturer.  They are now seeking field based Regional Aftersales Managers to work with their dealers in various locations nationwide.  The exact areas to be covered are yet to be defined however applications are welcome from candidates currently living anywhere in the UK.  You will also need to have a flexible approach to potential future relocation.

The role is responsible for the sales of parts and accessories via the dealers in your defined region as well as improving efficiency and effectiveness and profitability of the dealers’ aftersales operations.

You will work closely with the dealers in your region to maximize sales and profitability of all aftersales products and ensure customer service is optimized.  This will involve building strong working relationships with dealership personnel from senior management down.  You will work with dealers on all the manufacturer’s tactical aftersales campaigns and ensure that all opportunities are realised.

We are seeking bright, ambitious, graduate calibre individuals looking to take the next step in your career with an automotive manufacturer.  Your experience could be in a range of different areas – you do not necessarily need previous experience in an aftersales role.  Ideally you will have completed an automotive manufacturer or dealer group graduate scheme.

The successful candidate will:
Be educated to degree level
Ideally have completed an automotive manufacturer or dealer group graduate programme
Have a good understanding of dealer infrastructure and operations
Some previous field/dealer facing experience would be advantageous
Previous experience in an aftersales function is not essential
Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and negotiate
Show a genuine enthusiasm for the role and demonstrate potential for future development with the manufacturer
Demonstrate a progressive career history to date
Demonstrate excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Be highly target focused
Have a flexible approach with regards to potential future relocation
