Our client is an international business who represents a major Automotive Manufacturer across the globe.  Their remit includes managing sales, marketing, service and parts solutions through a Dealer Network spanning over 70 countries. They are now seeking a  Regional Business Manager to work with dealers in Central Asia (Covering Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Sri Lanka). The role will be based from Guildford, Surrey but approx 50% of your time will be spent travelling in the region.

Overall Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the company’s sales of vehicles and parts to Dealer Partners in a designated region and the development of the Dealers and their brands. Manage dealers in relation to vehicle sales and service. Co-ordinate the team to respond to any market requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Develop strategies and actions to achieve sales targets, generating production orders, proactively managing Dealers and stock.
Ensure adherence to all manufacturer standard Management reports, Sales and Inventory objectives in the form of Key Performance Indicators
Lead and develop the dealer in the Business Planning process, to ensure maximum achievement of market potential.
Market analysis: Prepare and ensure all market analysis reports are up to date and that full competitor segment and price analysis is undertaken.
Ensure that fleet opportunities in the region are fully exploited and that the dealers have a strategy in place to access and realise Fleet Sales to Fleet prospects.
Work with the company and Dealers on all manufacturer programmes,
Lead with the Dealer Development Manager to ensure that all Dealers in the region have facilities that meet the manufacturer’s guidelines and are either up to date on Corporate Image (CI), or have an approved plan in place to achieve it.
Ensure all dealers have the required levels of stock finance and working capital to meet their obligations to the company

Person Specification
Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree or to A Level standard with significant work experience, ideally from a Business Management background.
Significant experience working in the automotive industry in a similar role.
Relevant Sales and Marketing experience and strategic planning skills.
Highly numerate. The ability to analyse and assimilate data, and to prepare reports and presentations.
International experience with exposure to markets other than the UK.
Ability to travel across the region up to 50% of the time.
French or Russian language skills would be useful but are not essential
Experience of working with both retail and fleet market opportunities would be desirable
