Background: 
Our client is a fast growing manufacturer in the LCV sector. Building on current success, they have ambitious plans to be number one in their sector.  To achieve this, they need to have the best dealer partners available to help achieve their objectives.  With an evolving network and increased brand focus they now need to ensure they have a dedicated field team to follow up their business plans.

They are now seeking a field-based Regional Development Manager to join their team. The individual will be responsible for Sales, Aftersales and Dealer Development. The role will cover a region stretching from Portsmouth to Kent to Cambridge. Ideally the candidate will be located centrally within the region probably close to the M25 area.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• The achievement of sales volumes
• Aftersales management
• Parts/accessory sales
• Dealer Representation - Recruit new dealers to fill open points
• Development and implementation of effective Dealer Marketing Plans
• Ensuring dealers reach the required levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensuring full implementation of agreed minimum dealer standards
• Managing poor performing dealers
• Finance performance
• Dealer coaching/training

The successful candidate will:
Have experience in the automotive industry with either a manufacturer or dealer group in sales, aftersales or dealer development
Experience in light commercial vehicle would be advantageous, but is not essential
Previous experience in a field-based dealer-facing role would be advantageous
Demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of dealer personnel
Demonstrate a track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets in previous roles
Have a very strong work ethic and a willingness to work until the job is done
Be prepared to be hands-on with dealers as required to help them achieve required results
Demonstrate the ability to open doors with potential new dealers
Have strong presentation skills
Be IT literate, working with Word, Excel, Power Point
Be living in the South East – preferably in the M25 region.
