Our client is a highly respected software house supplying F&I technology solutions to all levels of the Motor Trade, from motor manufacturers to small independent retailers. A profitable well established company, they are now looking to take the business to the next level.

They are seeking a Sales Director to take full control of the sales and marketing functions of the business, working closely with the Managing Director to take their range of innovative products to market. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate how they have delivered exceptional sales results in previous or current roles. They will show an exceptional level of drive and enthusiasm to achieve real success.

The company are based in the Midlands, however this role will be largely field based so candidates living anywhere between the M4 corridor and Manchester/Leeds would be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruiting a field sales team
• Managing and reporting on sales performance and activity
• Managing overall sales strategy to achieve the budgetary targets
• Developing key account relationships
• Identifying new market opportunities
• Providing feedback to assist with product research and development

Requirements:
• Experience of successful sales management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
• Graduate calibre with a strong track record in B2B sales, preferably in the Automotive sector, marked with significant achievements in previous roles
• You will probably have worked in a field-based B2B sales role, selling a product or service into automotive dealers/manufacturers
• You will be results focused and capable of hitting targets in all conditions
• An understanding of automotive dealer showroom processes and systems, specifically in the areas of finance and insurance sales would be a valuable asset to this role.
• Some experience of web marketing and ecommerce would also be beneficial.
