Sales Executive – Location - Derby – Salary £ 18K + Bonus

Our client provides vehicle fleet solutions for corporate clients based in the throughout the UK. They require an additional team member to join their sales and marketing team to generate leads and book appointments for the new business team. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of other business development duties that support the sales and marketing operation of our business.
This role is office based in Derby and we are looking for someone who thrives on speaking to prospects to uncover opportunities for new customer acquisition.
Telemarketing/lead generation experience is essential and we would be particularly interested in hearing from persons from with experience gained in a business to business environment. The key requirements to succeed in the role are;
· A good telephone manner, credibility at senior level with enhanced communication skills
· To be confident enough to regularly ‘cold call’ senior level decision makers and use as consultative approach to assess potential requirements
· To be self motivated, resilient and possess a ‘can do’ attitude
· The ability to research potential corporate clients and build a pipeline of prospects
· Experience of working with CRM/ customer database systems
You should also be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and will quickly be proficient in the use of CRM database systems.
