Trader Media Groups winning formula is focused on giving trade customers the opportunity to choose all effective channels to market; building the service and relationship with dealers and manufacturers; and strengthening its portfolio of automotive and specialist classified titles.
The role is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activity at Deltapoint. The role will direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the business plans. The role will establish sales plans and strategies to expand the customer base, grow revenue opportunities and retain customers
•Develop a sales strategy and implement sales plans to exceed budget and achieve revenue/customer targets
•Successfully execute sales plans, building sales activity to achieve activity targets (e.g. conversion, visit rate, sales targets, retention of customers)
•Prepare, initiate and co-ordinate development of action plans to penetrate new customers, tracking and progressing to close, providing analyse and feedback of lost and won
•Provide timely feedback internally to Senior Management regarding achievement of sales plans, budget and performance
•Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports
•Build and manage group customer relationships with key decisions makers to the benefit of Deltapoint and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
•Assist Account Managers to create and conduct proposal presentations to customers at all levels and support the team in managing customer responses
•Recruit and hire Account Managers when required
•Responsible for the performance and development of Account Managers to ensure that they meet / exceed all sales activity targets including prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
•Conducts regular coaching reviews with Account Managers to provide insight and actions needed for the development and improvement of the team, sales activity and performance
•Maintain adequate knowledge of the retail wholesale motor trade ( wider economic conditions) to ensure credibility with senior contacts
•Understand how customers operate, their sourcing, pricing appraising processes
•Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
•Interact and build relationships within Trader Media Group to gain visibility of opportunities for all Deltapoint products
•Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
•Proven success of delivering results in line with sales targets and business objectives
•Strong understanding of software sales to automotive retailers, all segments – large independents, Franchises (including Groups), Supermarkets
•Strong communicator, who can present, inspire and influences at all levels
•Good demonstration of industry knowledge
•Excellent organisation planning skills
•Commitment to providing a quality service great customer experience
•Can demonstrate strong financial acumen to enable effective management of revenue and budget
This role is based either remotely or at our Chester Offices.
