Our client, an established Automotive manufacturer is looking for a Sales Operations Manager - European Motorcycles to represent its European territory.
As Sales Operations Manager - European Motorcycles, you will be responsible for driving the Motorcycle business through its’ European Distributors focusing on delivering profitability and consistency of performance throughout the region.
Based from their head office in Berkshire, you will be responsible for working with the European countries to develop their Sales and Marketing strategies, working towards delivering profitability for the group.
Negotiate, monitor and implement sales, supply and pricing plans.
Create a budget proposal and present this strategy at board level.
Develop pricing and grading strategies to support profitability, volume and brand image.
Directing the marketing strategy for individual countries to achieve joint goals.
Implement programmes to develop Distributor businesses in order to enhance the brand and develop volumes.
Challenge existing custom and practice where it stands in the way of improving the business.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Demonstrable experience in the automotive industry with a European focus.
The ability to meet or surpass profitability targets, assuming responsibility for individual and team results.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others up to and including Board Level.
Experience of working with differing business cultures would be an advantage.
A passion for motorcycles or experience within the motorcycle industry preferred.
There is a large volume of travel required for this role between the UK and Europe so you must be prepared to base yourself from the Berkshire Head office, travelling once or twice a week to Europe.
