A marketing agency based in a beautiful rural location is seeking a Senior/Account Manager to join their Client Services Team. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working on an Automotive Account and will need exceptional client-facing and project management skills, including all day-to-day communications such as contact reports, project planning, proposal writing, budget preparation and control and general communications. A proven ability to develop and grow accounts as well input into the new business process would be highly desirable.
The candidate will be joining a busy department to work on a number of accounts on a diverse set of projects, so organisational excellence and the proven ability to calmly juggle workloads are beneficial. A broad range of marketing skills are desirable.
Manage and build strong client relationships
Achieve client needs on-brief, on-budget and on-time
Co-ordinate, manage and brief internal stakeholders and the Account Team
Sustain and grow client accounts
Controlling costs and maximising profitability
To attend and take an active role in all client meetings
To proof check and approve any materials that the Account Team produce prior to distribution to clients (including contact/status reports, general correspondence, etc.)
To oversee that the finance job bags are accurate and provide account finance figures to Director by specified date each month
Ensure all work is quoted to clients before any work is undertaken
Sign off internally prior to work being undertaken
Assist Director (where appropriate) with monthly financial summaries/projections
New Business Development
Attend brainstorming sessions
Assist in the writing of presentations and proposals
Attend meetings internally, with clients and with suppliers
Take accurate / comprehensive new business briefs
Co-ordinate print & design of presentation materials
Become fully conversant with the agency marketplace and competition
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in an agency/marketing environment
Automotive account experience is preferable
Be numerate, creative and have excellent communication skills
Must have client-facing experience
Have excellent client communication skills (verbal and written)
Be financially astute
Be able to demonstrate the ability to sustain and develop client relationships as well as grow key accounts
A broad range of marketing skills are desirable, and specifically, knowledge of all or any of the specific areas below:
Incentive and motivation programmes
Data handling and analytics
Group travel trips
IT literate including Microsoft Office is pre-requisite
